The story behind picture

Vinu dug up this picture to get a painting done for their fortieth anniversary.
So Ranjit Singh Who works in the factory painted it and managed to finish it just a day before but it wasn't dry as yet so we hid it in my room before the d-day. But mum entered the room and saw it before we could do so and said there is some painting lying in that room, the sardar is very good looking. She had not recognized herself and dad ion picture.

Had fun today with one of those phones.
The girl said that our phone no. had been selected for a prize but to claim it i would have to come along with my husband for presentation to claim it. After all the details when she asked me would it be possible to come ? when I said i couldn't she asked wether she could know the reason. The poor girl didn't know what to say when I told her for the simple reason that i am divorced.

Time

Gud didi became a grandmother, seems like just yesterday all of used to have fun , how time flies, already signs of old age, aches and pains creeping up. How time flies.

Three sisters

Mrs. Hari passed away yesterday. Brings back old memories. Yesterday only I had written about being invited by her for lunch. We learnt so many folk songs from her and it brought back memories of 472 sangat road.Everyone remembers the tall lady with bigi bindi. How we everyone used to get togther almost everyday and everyone in and out of each others houses like they were their oen. How times have changed. The area looks completely different now. New people have come in and old oones have left. passing of an older generation and advent of new and suddenly all the responsibilities are looming up wondering how will we ever cope. .........May God rest her soul in peace.
